Helen Cowley

Helen is very passionate and committed about providing solutions and improving small business results. Helen founded her own business consultancy 18 years ago, because of the many requests from other business owners who knew her.  She has 34 yrs experience owning various businesses at the same time as bringing up 5 children and balancing them both. These business interests have varied from service and wholesaling to earthmoving and construction and retail fashion. Helen is committed to continuous learning having completed an MBA specialising in Entrepreneurial and Venture Development, has a Dip. Business Management as well as Cert IV in Training and Assessment(TAE).

She keeps up to date with both industry and community though many roles and various membership involvements. Life member of Logan Country Chamber of Commerce, Past President of Jimboomba Chamber of Commerce (1999-07 for 8 years)and involved in South East Regional Chambers, Commerce Qld and a number of other networks. Helen was appointed as Beaudesert member for Moreton Ministerial Regional Community Forum( Feb 07-April 09) and is President of Logan West Community Projects working with the long term unemployed (earning her a volunteer medallion in 2002).  Helen was previously Qld Chapter manager for Micro Business Network inc Home Based Business Australia a role that enabled her to be Guest Speaker for Northern Territory Gov. October Business Week as well as encourage many small business owners to develop and be recognised by entering the Australian Micro Business Awards program.

Helen mentors, coaches and trains business owners to recognise the challenges and opportunities improve their business learning and profitability and utilise their own skills, goals and resources. Helen is positive and proactive in supporting business owners with her broad general experience in different industries, qualification and her many contacts though out Queensland.
